Banks DIH Limited has started the installation of 14 Unitanks at Thirst Park Complex as part of the Company’s Brewery Modernization programme.

Four of the unitanks each has a storage capacity of 1500 hectolitres while the other 10 can store 900 hectolitres each of products.

Mr. Gavin Todd, Banks DIH Limited Engineering Executive said the main objectives of the project are to modernize the brewery with state-of-the-art equipment and to increase its capacity. He added that the Company will also benefit greatly in energy conservation.

Banks DIH limited has teamed up with the Guyana Badminton Association for Guyana’s 16-member Junior team to participate in the Suriname Easter International tournament to be held from this Thursday to Monday in the neighbouring republic.

The local beverage company presented playing shirts as well as Powerade and Aqua Mist Water to members of the delegation during a simple Ceremony at Thirst Park on Tuesday.

My fellow shareholders, you may recall when last we came together that we reviewed what will be required to take our Company to “The Next Level”. At that time, we considered that within the understanding of that concept, we should not consider “The Next Level” as a physical space or geographical location but rather a change of attitude, work ethic and thinking from which will flow increased sales volumes and improved financial results.

Banks DIH Limited hosted its Annual Senior Citizens Luncheon on February 10, 2013 where over 600 guests were entertained in the four-hour programme at Thirst Park.

The event attracted pensioners of the Company as well as senior citizens from homes and social organisations around Georgetown.
