Banks DIH Limited

Twenty one players will contest the Banks DIH Limited sponsored “Premium Cues Showdown” National pools finals on Sunday at Stabroek Sports Bar on Brickdam.
The players were selected following seven zone tournaments in West Demerara, Essequibo, Linden, Berbice, East Bank Demerara, East Coast Demerara and Georgetown.
Banks/Premium Beer Manager Brian Choo-Hen said that the top three players from each zone were selected to contest the national finals.
Colin Carr, Anthony Rajkoomar and Nicholas Dhanesar will represent West Demerara, Vishwannauth Persaud, Ramesh Ramsaroop and Rameshwar Seeraj will represent East Coast Demerara, Sean DeSouza, Shem Haripersaud and Bhisham Dharundhar will be East Bank Demerara representatives.
Dwayne McAlmont, Nandalall Persaud and Ganesh Roopnarine will represent Linden, Brijmohan Ramsahai, Andy Persaud and Bisram Balaram are the Essequibo representatives with Amadat Singh, Feroze Khan and Tameshwar representing Berbice while Ryan Rambalak, Troy Soodoo and Bernard Bagot will represent Georgetown.
The winner will receive $125,000 and the Premium Beer Pools Championship trophy with the runner-up securing $70,000 while the third place finisher will collect $35,000.
Starting time is at 11:0 hours.
