The Banks DIH Limited sponsored Malta Supreme One-day Rapid Chess tournament will take place on Sunday Match 25th at the Constabulary Recreational Hall in Linden.
The tournament starts at 11:00 hours and will feature several of the nation’s top players.

The inaugural Guinness Street Football Challenge will take place in Guyana from June 21st -23rd at the National Park arena with six regional teams expected to compete for a top prize of $4,000 (US) and a specialized artificial football pitch in country of the winning team.

The inaugural Guinness Caribbean Street Football challenge opened Thursday evening at the National Park tarmac.
Five regional teams, Antigua/Barbuda, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago and host Guyana are competing in the five-a-side tournament.
The feature address was delivered by Mr. Alfred King, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport who represented Sports Minister Dr. Frank Anthony.
