Banks DIH limited is the official beverage sponsor of the Pan American Indoor Hockey Championships which open on Monday at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.

The Guyana Hockey Board and the local beverage company formalized arrangements and announced the partnership during a presentation ceremony on Wednesday at Thirst Park.

Vice President of the GHB Alan Newark received the sponsorship cheque from Banks DIH Limited Communications Manager Troy Peters in Sales Conference Room.

Banks DIH Limited and the Coca Cola Company are partnering to promote heathy lifestyle in schools through physical activities and for this reason Houston Secondary School on the East Bank of Demerara has benefited with the rehabilitation of its basketball backboard and donations of basketballs and jump (skipping) ropes.

Nineteen employees were recognised for attaining 20 years of service to Banks DIH Limited during the Company’s Annual 20-Year-Club Luncheon held last Friday at the Sports Club at Thirst Park.

Mr. Clifford Reis, Chairman/Managing Director presented gold pins with the Company’s emblem to the recipients which included two employees from the Berbice Branch.
