Banks DIH Limited hosted its Annual Senior Citizens Luncheon on February 10, 2013 where over 600 guests were entertained in the four-hour programme at Thirst Park.

The event attracted pensioners of the Company as well as senior citizens from homes and social organisations around Georgetown.

Mr. Clifford Reis, Chairman and Managing Director in his feature address highlighted the Company’s performance during 2012 and plans for the coming year.

He expressed gratitude to the pensioners for their valuable contribution to the company over the years.

“We salute you for your hard work and dedication,” Mr. Reis told the former employees to loud applause.

The Chairman reported that Banks DIH Limited had a good year in 2012 and he said the Company could not have achieved the success without the support of employees, consumers and other stakeholders.

The luncheon was attended by residents and members of from Uncle Eddie’s Home, Holy Family, Salvation Army Hostels, Archer’s Home, David Rose Centre, Red Cross Society, Gentle Women’s Home, Guyana Institute for the Blind, St. Thomas Moore Home, St. Vincent the Paul Women’s Home, New Nazareth Home, Guyana Association for the Visually Impaired, Chase Indigent Home among other organisations.
