Prizes won at the recently concluded Powerade Pee Wee Football tournament organized by the Georgetown Football Association and sponsored by Banks DIH Limited were presented to the outstanding teams and players at a Presentation Ceremony Saturday June 30, at Thirst Park.

Fruta Conquerors were presented with the Championship Trophy and other attractive prizes including playing equipment and medals.
Renaissance copped the runner-up trophy and medals. They were also adjudged the Most Disciplined team while Santos claimed the third spot and Sunburst Camptown fourth place.

The individual awards were presented to Jobe Cesar of Santos FC (Most Valuable Player), Travis Lyken of Santos FC (highest goal scorer), Simeon Moore of Fruta Conquerors (best goal scorer) and Kayode Lambert of Fruta Conquerors (Best Goalkeeper).

Banks DIH Brand Manager Errol Nelson made the presentation to the winning team in the presence of players from the top four teams, officials of the GFA and parents.
President of the GFA Vernon Burnett thanked Banks DIH for sponsoring the tournament and supporting the Association’s soon to be established Football Academy.

Technical Director Jimmy McLean announced the names of 37 players to be attend the football academy.
The players took part in the just concluded tournament that attracted eight clubs affiliated to the GFA.
