Linden, Guyana - 17 June 2026 — Banks DIH Limited's Linden Branch has donated 100 cases of bottled Rainforest water and 90 boxes of Triskits cookies and crackers to residents of Kwakwani, Region 10, after heavy rainfall left several homes along the riverfront inundated with water.
The donation was officially handed over to Mr. Deron Adams, Regional Chairman of the Region 10 Regional Democratic Council (RDC), for distribution to affected families in the area.
Speaking on the donation, Sean Grant, Branch Manager of the Linden Branch, said:
"This riverside community is experiencing a crisis, and we wanted to do our part and respond quickly to make sure families in Kwakwani had access to clean water and food during this difficult time."
Speaking on behalf of the RDC, Mr. Adams commented:
"A massive THANK YOU to Banks DIH Limited! Grateful for the support received to aid the Regions' Disaster Preparedness and Relief efforts at Kwakwani. Thank you for being a steadfast partner in our community's recovery. We truly appreciate your generosity."
