Banks DIH Limited honoured 26 employees who attained 20 years of service with the Company at its Annual 20-Year Club Luncheon held Friday at the Sports Club, Thirst Park.
Mr. Deonarain Seepaul, Finance Controller who delivered the feature address congratulated the new long service awardees who were inducted into the Company’s 20-Year Club.
Mr. Seepaul, who has been employed for 34 years, said the 20-Year Club is a tradition of the rich cultural heritage of the Company.
Mr. Andrew Carto, Human Resources Director presented gold pins with the Company’s logo to the awardees in recognition of their achievement.
There are approximately 200 employees who are members of the 20-Year Club.
The inductees are: Cleopatra Taitt, Desiree Carrington, Desiree Harper, Marva Benjamin, Hedy Payne of OMG, Colin Canterbury (Engineering Department), Trevor Nero, Delight Perreira (Bakery), Desmond Thornton (Demico Retail Liquor Store), Edward Gobin (Dairy Plant), Edward (Sports Club), George Easton (Beverage Sales), Hansraj Persaud (Demico Sanitation), Ivan Sealy (Liquor Warehouse), Leslie Doodnauth (Head Office), Mervyn Whyte (Linden Branch), Morag Peters (Demico Qik Serv), Paulette Fairbairn (Krystal Dry Cleaners), Sheron Douglas (Electrical Workshop), Hugh Munroe, Steve Souvenir, Sydney Seymour (Vehicle Workshop),Vanessa Williams (Trisco Plant), Vishnu Ramotar (Security), Wendil Joseph (Materials Handling) and Wendell Ellis (Soft Drink Plant).
