Thirst Park, Georgetown - 24 August 2026 — The Annual Bursary awards were disbursed to twenty (20) students as part of the Banks DIH Holdings Inc./Banks DIH Limited's on-going commitment to celebrating academic excellence. The twenty students now joins eighty other students currently being supported through this Bursary program. The twenty (20) top performers were selected from results submitted by employees and shareholders following the National Grade Six Assessment.
Delivering the keynote address was the Finance Director-BanksDIH Limited, Mr. Deonarain Seepaul, who encouraged the scholars to stay curious, balanced and moving forward. He challenged them to:
"take this award today as a token of our belief in you, go to your new schools with your heads held high and make your parents proud, make us proud but most importantly, make yourselves proud."
The event was also attended by Mr. Mohamed S. hussein, Engineering Services Director, Mr. Carlton Joao, Marketing Director, Mrs. Kavorn Kyte-Williams, Company Secretary/General Counsel/Human Resources Chief Executive, Mrs. Reshma Nedd, Trisco Executive, Mr. Matthew Kendal, Brew Master, along with other executives and staff members.
This year's ceremony was held in the Rotunda and the awards were disbursed to the following students:
