A delegation from the Chinese Embassy in Guyana headed by His Excellency Cui Jianchun, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Guyana met with Mr. Clifford Reis CCH, Chairman and Managing Director of Banks DIH Limited at Thirst Park during which projects and opportunities of mutual benefit were discussed.
Ambassador Jianchun who was accompanied by Mr. Yang Chenqi, Deputy Chief of Mission and Mr. Shen Huiyong, Economic and Commercial Counselor held talks with Mr. Reis and other senior executives including Mr. George McDonald, Co-Managing Director/Marketing Director, Mr. Michael Pereira, Operations Director and Mr. Shabir Hussein, Engineering Services Director.
The visiting delegation was also taken on a guided tour of the Thirst Park production operations including the Soft Drink and Beer plants, Brewery House and the Rum Factory.
