Guyana's Lady Jaguars (National women’s football team) received a timely boost from Banks DIH Ltd. just hours before they qualified for the CONCACAF Gold Cup football tournament in the United States.
The Lady Jaguars were presented with a financial donation from Banks DIH Ltd. and subsequently had their final training session at Thirst Park ground on July 2nd, 2010 in preparation for their match against Cuba which they won 3-1 on July 3rd at the Guyana National Stadium at Providence.
Mr. Carlton Joao, Sales and Marketing Executive made the presentation on behalf of Banks.
The Lady Jaguars will now compete in the CONCACAF tournament as they seek a place in the women’s World Cup finals in 2011.
